What is the difference between the market's “invisible hand“ and the politics invisible hand?
Is it so that the public money in a market obliterate freedom in the community?
These and similar questions went through my head when I read that the Document had been granted press subsidies from the Norwegian media authority. I was angry and indignantly as it is called. I was not angry on the Document. The Document I have learned to know through a few years now and I have gained a deep joy, interest and understanding for what the Document is. So deeply have the Document marked me that I actually have invested a lot of time, money and commitment to try to help Document into the consciousness of people who do not know the Document from before.
I was angry for something else. For me it was the news is a manifestation of how bad it is. When I'm talking not only about the media, freedom of expression, and that which many people associate with the press subsidies. It is perhaps one of the most serious because it is to control a lot of the other. Public power spread about them in very many other areas as well. In my view, is the public power of the main problem, which also Document her every day.
Many years ago, I think it was in the beginning of the 1990 years, I came in injury to say something I should not say in a juleselskap. Great organizations like the Red Cross, save the Children, the Norwegian people's Aid m.fl. was now(then) almost 100% funded by the public. To say it was worse than swearing in church. Then I realized that I had poked fingers something important. Today the term public support so many synonyms. Subsidies, grants, transfers, press subsidies, no-risk loans, contributions, benefits and assistance . The list can be infinitely long. The aforementioned organizations were originally founded and established by the idealistic good people with very good intentions. Today we can say that many of the people in these organizations still have good intentions. Unfortunately, clear dashboard and many believe that it causes wrong go off in many cases. Why? My hypothesis is that it has something with the public power to do. Maybe the invisible hand or hands.
The market's “invisible hand” is formed as a result of the actors, and people in the market. They are traditionally many. Everyone who sees a price and a quality of something and decide whether it is something I would buy is to form the market's “invisible hand”. No one has the full overview but the products, services or, for that matter subscriptions are purchased. The “invisible hand” does not exist. There are only a few visible hands and, unfortunately, a part of invisible hands. What they do know we don't because they are invisible. The public hands is less. Some call it maktkonsentrasjon. Here it is in fact also possible that someone has the overview.
